The PCL was established in November 1946 under the Indian Companies Act VII 1913. Its objective was to foster a spirit of comradeship and afford facilities for playing both in-door and out-door sports.

Banquet Hall: Two banquet halls are available for members and guests. The smaller hall can accommodate upto 25 persons and the bigger 35. Together they can accommodate 60 persons. Rates are as follows:
